3D model description

This is a hub for a Filastruder spool which is a resold Keene Village Plastics spool of filament.
The spool shaft was way to big to fit correctly on smaller 1" and 1.5" wooden rods I had that I affixed to a rack to hang my filament.

To correct for the size difference I made a hub that fits onto the spool shaft and allows the smaller wooden rods to fit easily into the shaft without being to tight that the spool will not rotate easily when pulled on by the print head.

I also print the hubs with a split in them to allow some compression when inserting into the shaft.

*Only one hub is needed as it will insert to the side that is not flush with the outside of the spool. See pic I have uploaded for visuals of the two different sides of the spool.

I have also included a solid hub so that you can make your own hole to fit correctly on whatever size rod you have to hand your spool.
