Ironhide/Ratchet Wheels

Earth-style wheels for Transformers Earthrise Ironhide and Ratchet. Also compatible with Siege Ironhide and Ratchet. These parts replace the stock Cybertronian-style wheels with wheels inspired by the Masterpiece figures and the Datsun Sunny Vanette van. Designed to print in multiple pieces to allow different colors for wheels and tires, without supports.

For FDM printers, use the face, back, axle and tire models. All print without supports. Includes versions of the wheel face with rivets out or in. Rivets-out is more accurate to the source material, but may not print successfully with FDM printers.

To assemble, press wheel face into tire, making sure it is fully seated. Add a few small dabs of super glue around the outside edge of the wheel face inside the tire. Then press the wheel back piece on tire. Add a dab of glue into the hole, then insert the axle peg. This should glue all four parts together.

Models of the full wheel+axle and wheel+axle+tire assemblies are included for use with resin printers.

Updated 2/27/2022:
Revised to make the axle clip a separate part, allowing it to be printed horizontally for much greater durability. The clip prongs have also been enlarged for stronger attachment to the figure.

No supports needed when printing in four pieces. 0.1mm layer height recommended. Photos show parts printed on Prusa MK3S with Hatchbox black and CC3D silk silver filaments.
