Title: The Frenchie in Action Pose with Skull | The Foundation Series | The Dream of The Bovine Hill Dweller Project

What is PLA?
PLA plastic or polylactic acid is a vegetable-based plastic material, which commonly uses cornstarch as a raw material. This material is a thermoplastic aliphatic polyester and it is the primary natural raw material used in 3D printing. PLA is a fully biodegradable thermoplastic polymer consisting of renewable raw materials.

After completion of printing the model is carefully sanded, stained, and polished with natural beeswax.

What is The Dream of The Bovine Hill Dweller Project?
TDBHD is my world building project. My approach to creating this universe is through the natural evolution of the characters, environments, and narrative growing on a parallel track with the development of my technical skills.

What is The Foundation Series?
Every new project needs a firm foundation to build upon. For me this foundation is the Foundation Series. Starting from the most basic anatomically accurate models I will manipulate the body structure until it becomes a new species of creature/character to occupy the TDBHD fantasy realm. The Foundation Series sculptures also stand on their own as fully realized sculptural works of art.

What can you expect as the project develops?
--New additions to The Foundation Series.
--The development of characters, dioramas, collectibles, and miniature series. For example: The Alchemical Forge Series, consisting of alchemist/metalsmiths, assistants, equipment, and the forge.
--More miniatures, dioramas,2D digital artwork, game ready characters and assets, and I am sure many surprises that will spring into existence through the creative process.
