Tangram 4x4 in

The tangram is an ancient Chinese game from which and the use of creativity can make different figures, currently it is used in initial education for the basic teaching of geometry.

It consists of seven pieces, two large triangles, two small triangles, one medium, a square and a rhombus, all together they make up a huge square. In this case I elaborated a tangram of 4 inches per side, since the tangram must be elaborated in units multiple of 4; For this case, the measurements of the individual figures are as follows:

-2 large triangles:

base = 4 in (101.6 mm)

depth = 10 mm

base to vertex length = 2 in (50.8 mm)

-1 median triangle:

base = 2,828 in (71,842 mm)

depth = 10 mm

length from base to vertex = 1.414 in (35.921 mm)

-2 small triangles:

base = 2 in (50.8 mm)

depth = 10 mm

length from base to vertex = 1 in (25.4 mm)

-1 square:

sides = 1,414 in (35,921 mm)

depth = 10 mm

-1 rhombus:

width = 3 in (76.2 mm) tip to tip (base 2 in (50.8 mm))

depth = 10 mm

length from bottom to top base = 1 in (25.4 mm)
