Spent hundreds of hours getting this right but i'm very proud proud of the results.

For the Lithophane part you take your own picture to make it. That's not included in the files obviously. Link bellow for the website to make the lithophane and all the dimensions.

I wanted a battery powered ornament to give my mom but can't imagine her changing the battery every few hours of use and all the waste it would do. So i designed this with a high capacity Lithium ion battery and built in micro USB battery charger. battery lasts over 24h in this configuration (driven at 2.9-3v, gives out about 0.2w) Bought most parts on amazon. Once the electronics assembled, it simply drops into the sphere and the top clips in to lock everything in place.

The specs of the globe i use are:
I made a 3800x1450 pixel picture and used the ''fit image to sphere'' option
0.16mm resolution
Clic the ''flip image'' box
60mm diameter
2.8mm max thickness
0.6mm min thickness
31mm cylinder outer diameter
8mm cylinder height
2mm cylinder thickness
33mm cylinder ledge outer diameter
25mm top hole

Printed in Esun cool white with 0.4mm nozzle with 0.16mm layer height. (layer height should match the resolution you chose on lithophanemaker.com)

The button prints without support but with 0.2mm nozzle. Even has a built in clip so if your printer is set-up properly it will clip onto the tiny switch. Otherwise you might need a drop of glue to hold it in place.

Everything else prints without support with 0.4mm nozzle and 0.2mm layer height. The only support needed is on the battery holder part and i made it built in the STL to make things easier. Split the cap into 2 piece specially to make it printable without support.
