3D model description

FOR MODEL Techno Line

TX COVER 4N20 sold on Amaz...

Following the purchase of a protection of brand techno Line for a sensor of temperature and hygrometry, I realized that this one was too short to accommodate my sensor!

The larger models are overpriced and I sincerely don't want to put a large amount of money on "just" protection.

So I modeled a 5 cm extension that fits between the elements!

attention! it will be necessary to glue (or possibly drill + screwing, with very small screws in order not to break the rising rods!), but personally I prefer gluing!

then the part that will host the sensor works like the original one, however depending on the settings of the printer I advise to tweak with pumice paper or file on the original part (white) because it will be more resistant than the one you're going to print and thus keep the printed structure intact!

I also recommend ASA or PETG (abs doesn't like humidity)

for information, on the pictures there are Blue rods, these are just an aid for printing, you MUST put these rods in contact ideally on a RAFT, after printing and complete cooling, these are detached without forcing!

don't forget the "normal" supports.

3D printing settings

ASA / PETG

nozzle +- 240°c

bed +- 100 °c

Mandatory supports (normal, not tree-like!)

complete cooling with disassembly and removal of supports
