Heat Block Silicone Insulation Mold for ZONESTAR Z9M3

With
this mold you can make a Heater Block protective silicone cover.


How to do
it.


print Inner and outer mold in ABS or ASA.
Fill outer mold half +
with heat resistant silicone, make sure to come out to the
edge, and do not fill the center hole.

Now place the outer mold on a smooth surface with the small
hole facing down.

Press the inner mold down into the silicone and the small
hole on the outer mold, it must be pushed so far down that it meets
the surface.
The silicone should now have penetrated the top in between
molds. Excess silicone should be smoothed out and removed.
Allow the silicone to harden as directed by the
manufacturer. (Usually 24h. However, I leave the hardened almost
twice the time to be completely safe.)
When the silicone is dry, remove any
excess plastic from the mold, taking care not to damage the
silicone.

Insert mold into acetone until mold is
dissolved.


Remove any excess plastic that has not
dissolved, wash the silicone.

You
should now have a Heater Block protective silicone cover.

There
should be three cutouts with a hole at the end, two small ones and
one large one. If not remove excess silicone.
You can now put
the silicone cover on the heat block. the large hole fits with the
heat pipe
