3D model description

**01/11/23 KAPPLAKE led holder added. this is to allow a gap for the cable as this does not sit flush and causes the LED not to be clicky to turn on and off.

Any suggestions or additions please let me know.

*07/07/23 IKEA have now brought out KAPPLAKE LED . This is the same as the last but now has a detachable cable. Just push the cable through the holder and then plug in. Another version will come soon but as is works the same! :) *

Lithophane Stand for Ikea LEDBERG Spotlight

NOW INCLUDED LOGO FREE BASE

The stand Fits Lithophane's made from https://tool.itslitho.com/CreateModel

This will only fit ARC style 200mm wide Lithophane prints.

I created this model to sell my Lithophane Nightstand/Side table/ study Lamps. It fits the IKEA LEDBERG Spot light:

https://www.ikea.com/gb/en/p/ledberg-led-spotlight-white-80400928/

The LED casing pushes into the LED Holder. The wire can be fed though before hand and pushed into the LED itself. This is held in place on its own but for piece of mind a dab of hot glue is is fine if your going to sell these. Make sure to take off the defuser from the LED as it focuses the light to one part of the print and not all.

Another tip to do is push some hot glue though the bottom of the LED holder to stop the wire being accidentally tugged out. Can happen if it is knocked off the table the wire is caught. If you didn't glue anything in place this could happen but easily fixed :)

If your printer is dialed in and you don't have what they say elephants foots on the bottom of the print. This should slot straight in. If you do then just clean off the brim and use a metal ruler ( I find this the best way) a knife or sand paper and clean up the bottom of the print so it fits.

The LED Holder slots into the stand with ease and just enough resistance.

I've stuck little rubber feet bought from Wilkos (UK) just for some extra grip. Not needed if this doesn't bother you.

I've not seen anything like this for download on any site and is quite unique. I was reluctant to put this on here because of this.I only ask a small price for the Files which covers the countless hours i put into the model and testing. I'll also update this as time goes on to perfect the print.

I'll be doing a Portrait version in the new year if not before and anyone that does buy this model will have this for free.

I'll get a Video uploaded for this as well soon on YouTube.

As i mentioned I don't mind you selling this print with a Lithophane but selling on its own is Not prohibited.

CHANGELOG
15/02/20
-Updated the STAND with a smaller foot print version. Shaves around 1hr off at 60mm/sand not really any noticable change in the light dispersion.
-Updated the LED HOLDER the the led sits flush with the plastic.
-Again updated the LED HOLDER with a less tall version(15.824mm)
the photo shows a WARPED!! smaller LED holder. The print im using is next to a door and if im in and out I bring this apon myself -_- I have been using a brim on the models to stop this but for some reason i didn't this time and the printer is back on a paid job so I'd rather get this update out now. Will update pic later date.
22/12/20 100mm Version added. Same degree and settings.

More versions coming soon and will be added to the listing in due course.
