3D model description

UPDATE JULY 12

new version with more details, added MARK IV FEMALE version, one-piece versions for SLA printer, new details for chassis.

*mark v mesh problem fixed

For 1/48th scale, scale the model to 73 %.

For a scale 1/72, scale the model to 48.6%.

The Mark IV tank was a British World War I tank introduced in 1917.

UPDATE JANUARY 1: I added some details to the inside of the tracks to make it easier to place the chassis in the right place, I also separated the tracks from the turret containing the side guns for a cleaner impression, and lastly I modified the side hitches, they should now have much more detail.

the model was designed from scratch in Blender and I have made some modifications to facilitate its printing

The scale of the files is 1/35, but the scale can be modified according to the user's needs, in this scale the details are more appreciated.

The dimensions of the 1/35 model are: 230mm, 106mm and 73mm.

the model is separated into parts:

a model with the tracks and the chassis for FDM printing

the chassis parts separated into plates for printing on DLP printer

At 1/35 scale the longest part of the model is about 23 cm long, which in my case is a perfect size for my ender 3 with the model at a 30 degree rotation, if you are looking for a smaller scale, the model should be scaled to 72.92%.

3D printing settings

Printed on an Ender 3 Pro at 0.12mm layer

Supports: not necessary for the tracks but for the chassis, which I recommend to print standing up, and not sideways, I can cut the model in parts if necessary, infill at 15% is enough.

I print on Longer Orange 30 DLP at a layer resolution of 0.05, but only the parts of the chassis that are separated into parts, to keep more detail in the model, all parts can be printed this way but will have to be reduced in size.
