3D model description

This supersonic interceptor entered service eith RAFin 1959 till 1988.
Fantastic climber, supersonic without afterburner, capable of mach 2, this very agile fighter was also used by the air forces of Saudi Arabia and Kuwait; however, its superb performance was limited by obsolete avionics, poor operational range and armament limited to just guns and two heat seeking missiles.
The Lightning was not easy to fly, especially during crosswind landings, so much so that it earned the nickname "fryghtning" or "ensign eliminator", giving a different meaning to the two Es of English Electric.

New models
Optimized for FDM printers with 0.2mm extruder; the old ones have been moved to the old.zip file.

Models: Lightning FMk1 clean and with Firestreak missiles and FMk6 also clean, with Red Top missiles and with its unusual overwing 1200 liters fuel tanks.
Refueling probe is a separated .stl model to be easily printed and then glued to the model as shown in the images.

Models scale 1:200 made to be printed with a FDM with 0.2 nozzle at this scale.

For other scales use the following values into your slicer:
for 1:100 use 200%
for 1:144 use 139%
for 1:200 leave 100%
for 1:285 use 70%
for 1:300 use 66%

At 1:100 it can be used a FDM printer with a 0.4mm nozzle.
Under 1:200 is almost mandatory a resin printer.

Print test 1:200 mades as shown in the images from Cura with a FDM with 0.2mm nozzle and 0.12 mm layers.
