PTT Elno

The alternat (ptt for Push To Talk) of the radio system of the French army is of mark Elno. There are airsoft copies of the invisio or peltor, but not the elno. So here it is.

If you take an Atlantic Signal type ZTac ptt, you'll have everything you need to complete it and make it functional.

Otherwise there is what you need to adapt a switch yourself

I did not model the alligator clip and the back is flat so you can stick a velcro or screw your own alligator clip. It also allows a vertical and horizontal fixation and put something adaptable on a soft plate holder unlike the original.

There are 2 boxes! one with gland screws to block the cables and one with fake screws or you will have to glue the cables to secure them.

The v2 is for those who want to have an ambidextrous ptt like the real one.

So, no more worries for the choice of wiring at manufacture since it is ambidextrous.

On the other hand it implies that the alligator clip can't slip into the soft loops (like for the real ptt in fact).

I also accentuated the oblong hollow for more realism too.

Finally the Z144 version is to use the ZTac ptt rubbers. They are installed from the inside by forcing like a donkey and with the help of a tool to pass the big front lip, it's annoying but you get there by forcing well.

Perso I used a spring of charger of aeg which I cut for the button.
