3D model description

This is the base iPhone 12/12 pro case I designed. It fits securely and protects camera lenses. has a very satisfying snap when installing the phone :)

I will be adding more models in the future that use the same base geometry as this one but with designs and patterns cut into the back!

3D printing settings

I printed this using Poloymakers Polylite PLA and a few Amolen PLAs to test fit and feel, PLA should be more than good enough though I would suggest printing with a more durable filament like PETG or even HTPLA once annealed if you want added durability.

At the layer height I used (0.28) there is only one layer of infill and i went with a line pattern at 55% for extra rigidity, but I'm sure it's negligible.

sliced in Cura, printed on an ender 3 with a 0.4 nozzle.

settings:

layer height: .28

infill%: 20+

supports: None

( i haven't gotten a chance to print at a finer layer height though im sure, as long as you keep the line width at 0.4 it should still have the required clearance)
