OpenRC F1 2022 Beta
The OpenRC F1 2022 Project:
This project is not complete yet. As I add new things I'll be updating this page.
As the title says, this is a project to upgrade the original OpenRC F1 by Daniel Noree for the upcoming 2022 F1 regulations. I also have a video series explaining the design of each part (link).
The aim is to create a version where only the body needs to be replaced on the original (not 2017) OpenRC F1 chassis, and another customized version with custom chassis and powertrain.
Update 01/03/2021: Updated front wing to make it lighter and more flexible for impact resistance.
Update 26/04/2021: Adding tyre files. There's options for bare and covered rims for both tires, and slick tires for both front and rear.
Update 07/05/2021: Removing rim files as there's a design flaw that I need to rectify. I'll upload the corrected rim files ASAP.
Update 10/07/2021: Adding fixed rim and tire files.
Wing: 0.2mm layer height, any infill
Tires: 0.2mm layer height, 10% infill for 95A TPU, higher for softer TPU.
Rims: 0.2mm layer height, any infill (>10% for covered rims)
