3D model description

I designed this for my DIY offroad electric mountainboard. I did a lot of trial and error with different designs until I finally designed the perfect model. It fits the Spintend Ubox ESC perfectly and I put it on my MBS deck with 30 degree angle. Makes it easy to mount onto any mountainboard deck with around a 30 degree angle. Makes the esc waterproof, not 100% waterproof but enough to where you can feel safe going through mud and possibly even puddles. There is also an airflow designed in it underneath so it can stay nice and cool but also prevent water from getting in. If you print this correctly it is very sturdy. It should not break no matter what trails and terrains you take your board on. This is a must need design for anyone planning on making their own electric mountainboard with the Spintend Ubox.

All you will need to purchase separately is 17 #8-32@3/4" machine screws/bolts. 95x82mm piece of plexiglass. Some sealant/caulk/silicone to make it waterproof. You might also need longer mounting bolts for your trucks that the mounting base attaches to.

3D printing settings

I highly recommend to print this with PETG filament. You need to print everything at the exact size I designed it at. 100% infill needs to be done for the Mounting Base and Middle mount Stl. Everything else you could slice how you like, I do recommend using a brim to prevent warping. You need to print 4 of the spacers, they go in between the esc itself and the middle mount that the esc mounts to, this provides the airflow. You might be fine using 30-50% infill for all of these if you want. I know for sure if you use 100% for the mounting base and middle mount it will not break. Printing time total depending on your print settings can vary from 24 hours to 48 hours.
