3D model description

Third of the modular paint racks to store and organize hobby paints. This one is a smaller straight section. It is half the size of the large straight section. I designed this to hold Vallejo or Reaper dropper paint bottles. I will be adding more shelf layouts to hold paints such as Miniataire, GW and others!

Capacity:

18 dropper bottles (Vallejo, Reaper, Army Painter)
14 Minitaire bottles
14 Tamiya bottles

Dropper style bottles can be stored in the upright or inverted position. The Reaper paints in the upright position have a little play in them but will still be held without falling over or getting trapped. I designed it more for the inverted position as that is the way I hold my paints to prevent tip dry out.

Follow included instructions for assembly. You will need to print the following to assemble one unit:

One of the following:

LeftSide
RightSide
BottomFront-Small
BottomRear-Small
Shelf2-Small-(bottle style)
Shelf4-Small-(bottle style)

Two of the following:

Shelf1and3-Small-(bottle style)
RearSupport-Small

Optional - Two of the following:

Riser1
Riser2

If you use the Tamiya shelves or want to store your dropper bottles upright these risers will attach to the rear of the shelves to raise the bottle height.

Luckily these pieces would fight on the print bed but if it doesn't on yours you may have to split them and glue the two halves together. Assemble with the tabs and slots. I would also suggest glue just to be safe in case you have to move it even though the fit should be pretty tight. Further details are in the assembly instructions.

Hope you enjoy this and it gives you more options to tidy up your painting desk.

Revision History:

10/06/2017 - Added shelves for Tamiya brand paints. Also added two riser blocks to so the unit can remain at the same height for any brand paint.
10/09/2017 - Added shelves for Minitaire brand paints.

Happy Printing!!!
