3D model description

This Bundle, which contains both Helmet and Torso pieces, now you can have your own Dark-Trooper-inspired figure.

There are two versions of the Helmet pieces, an eye-holed one and one that is not. Both are included in this Bundle.

You'll also need a couple of common pieces to complete the figure, which are:

Optional:

  • 1x Trans-red head
  • 1x blue 3mm LED (because blue light inside of red transparent things apparently gives off a cool uniform fluorescent red light)

The torso's neck hole has two small holes in which you can slide the Led pins in to make them come out of the back of your figure.

A 3mm diameter Led can fit inside a standard head while leaving also space to have the pin of the connector to plug into the head into the body (I'll put up a photo of that).

If you just want a figure with no led head, you can just peg in the plain red one, and you are done ;)

3D printing settings

Resin printing would be perfect, otherwise (filament PLA printing) set 200Β°C extrusion temperature, 50Β°C building plate temperature, 0.5m nozzle, 0.1mm layer height, and 20% infill.

I'd recommend printing upsidedown both pieces to avoid utilizing supports, as they can be a pain to remove. Be careful when detaching the print from the printing bed, while the shoulder pads are well attached to the body piece, you don't want to stress that connection.

After a bit of sanding, paint it a nice shiny black, a bit of red on the front details, shiny silver on the hips details, and then you're done.
