3D model description

This is an alternative mask body for the Breeze headgear by Puritan Bennett. The headgear is used on Ventilators, CPAP, perhaps BiPAP, etc.

WARNING: Not relying on straps, and with increased arch/distance between the head and the mask, it provides easier access for washing hair and providing care for the patient. However, it is distributed here for educational purposes only. This is especially due to the fact that it was designed for ease of access, and provides less stability on the head (having no side-straps). A patient would constantly have to be supervised during use of this alternative body, if they are dependent on the ventilation as life-support.

It has printing-supports already built in, so it should be sliced with supports disabled. However, this also means you might need to mess with your slicer's extrusion width if the supports aren't printing properly (review your final gcode view!) I am going to try to upload the original .blend for easier customization.

It's designed with some bumps inside, to give a similar click-action to the original headgear body, but in most of my prints, they operate more as tension, allowing a smoother adjustment range -- it ends up being a positive in my book.
