3D model description

The internal locking part for Ideal Standard shower head holder. (Part nr. A860870AA) The internal part (#1, my print and #2, original) is unfortunately not sold separately and on top of it poorly designed. The part is simply too weak for its purpose. The only way to get the official part is to buy the whole set. (€ 70,) I did get once the original replacement set, only to break again after a year.

To remove dismantle the set, remove it from the square tube. Then remove the plastic insert from the tube hole. The part will come apart.

3D printing settings

I'm not a specialist on printing but my printer guy told me that he used FDM with a 0,4mm head. The finished product was a bit rough on the edges and the spacing for the little square rubber (#3) thingy need to be sanded down a tiny bit for a better fit.
