3D model description

Here are our 3d print files for both 10 and 20 round magazines to suit the Colt / HK416 / Umarex (and a couple of other) dedicated .22lr AR15 style rifles.

I print these out in ABS and use an off the shelf round spring. They also have an integrated pocket that I glue a scrap bolt to give the magazine a bit more weight for drop free reloads.

Please be aware that your local laws may not allow you to make these, or may limit your capacity (here in NZ we're not allowed the 20 rounders any more). Don't be that guy that gets us all a bad rap!

-------------------------UPDATE-------------------

We've been getting some feedback that some rifles aren't catching the magazine properly. If this affects you, then the "reduced stickout" magazine bodies should be used in place for the standard ones.

We have also heard that if printed in resin the magazines can be a little loose in the mag well. We suggest using the scaling in your slicer on the X & Y axis' to improve this fit.

3D printing settings

I use ABS or PLA+ and 0.20mm layer height, with full infill. Printing vertically without support works well and gives a good layer orientation on the feed lips.

You know your printer though, so you do you.
