3D model description

These are movement trays for games like Warhammer 40,000. There are variants for 40mm, 50mm, and 60mm base sizes, to allow you to move units together. For those larger models, units of 3 (or multiples) seem to be the most common, hence all of these are in threes.

The models in the trays will be ½" apart, which corresponds to the close combat engagement range in 40k, so if one model is in melee, the adjoining ones on the tray will be as well without you needing to measure.

Created in TinkerCAD based on ProxyFuel's design at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3888156
