3D model description

I have worked out how to hack the cube 3!!!

If this is correct (see below) then I will post how to do it here

CUBE 3 (free my filament campaign)

note: I have 2 ways to put together my little solution.

One is using one of the original cartridge and the other is using a mini cube 3 enclosure.

the solution is the same but enclosed differently.

Hello all!

And hopefully hello 3D systems.

I have been using 3D system printers for over 4 years.

Cannot speak highly enough of them.

My two 3D touches although discontinued models continue to kick on.

Check everything I have made with these 2 wonderful machines on my profile below

http://www.thingiverse.com/Hugo-archicad/about

I now bought a third 3D printer, yes another 3D system for life.

however, I know its a discontinued model like my other 2 machines.

the problem here is that the Cube 3 only works with 3D system cartridges.

I3D systems have discontinued this model.

and thats okay if thats what they want to do.

PURPOSE please 3D systems take off the DRM chip so we can now buy our own filament and continue to use them.

If you are no longer supporting the hobby market please let us now play with them and give us a firmware update where the chip is disabled.

Many thanks 3D systems because I believe you will do right by us, your customers!!!!

Here is an article I found about the same thing....
