A levitating, spinning UFO for your desk at work or at home. There are two models, the UFO and the Base. I modeled these around a round magnet with a hole in the center I found at Home Depot (picture included). After printing the UFO parts, the round magnet goes in the bottom (metal side up) then super glue the parts together. The magnet will move a little to allow the the guide wire to go through. After printing the base parts, they slide together to form the UFO holder. The thicker part of the "C" shaped part goes down, it has a hole through it, align this hole with the hole in the round part. The guide wire goes in from the bottom. The second round magnet goes in the opening on the base (metal side down) a little super glue to hold it there. You can also test it out before gluing, the magnet in the UFO will hold it down. I used a solid 12 gauge wire for the guide for the UFO. The hole in the UFO and the base are 4 mm so anything solid can be used for the UFO guide. The guide needs to be 98.75 mm (3.85 inches), or you can insert the guide from the bottom and trim to fit like I did. Once assembled, the UFO should be floating above the base and able to spin freely.

UPDATE: I found a new source for the round magnets. Lowes hardware carries a round magnet that works (pictures attached). I also found multiple sources online in EBay and Amazon. I put them in one of my prototype builds and they work fine.
