3D model description

This is a 3D model of the Estes PNC-60MS nose cone that is designed to fit Estes BT-60 airframe tubing.

There are six files to download. There are five of the nose cone itself and the other is the end cap which has a 3mm hole in it to allow you to add a screw eye or eye bolt.

The first nose cone is has 1.5mm thick walls and has a 32mm long shoulder.
The second has 1.5mm thick walls and a 19mm shoulder.

The third has 1.0mm thick walls and a 19mm shoulder. This nose cone was specifically designed for DynaSoar Rocketry's Orbital Transporter Mini RC Rocket glider kit that weighs about 11g.
You can find out more about this kit here. https://dynasoarrocketry.com/?page_id=7309
DynaSoar Rocketry Youtube channel: https://www.youtube.com/user/burkefj

The fourth and fifth nose cones are the cones only without the shoulders and have 1.0mm and 1.5mm thick walls.

Kit# 1223 Big Bertha
Kit# 1261 Baby Bertha
Kit# 1387 Max Streak
Kit# 1391 Mini Shuttle
Kit# 1948 Big Bertha (re-issue)
Kit# 2021 Rascal
Kit# 2119 36 D Squared
Kit# 2173 Menace
Kit# 2442 Mini Fat Boy

Note: This nose cone can be upscaled in your slicer to fit the Estes Super Big Bertha model rocket kit (#9719).

Centuri kit that used this nose cone:
Kit# 5353 Lil' Ivan

The Lil' Ivan was initially released in the 1982 Centuri catalog. Its Russian decor reflected the cold war period at the time. Produced near the end of Centuri's existence before Estes dropped most of the surviving Centuri line.
It was one of the first Centuri designs that used Estes parts. Instead of the ST-16, the Lil' Ivan used the BT-60 body tube and the PNC-60MS blow molded plastic nose cone that was shared with the Big Bertha & Baby Bertha. http://www.unclemikesrocketshack.com/Semroc/LilIvan.html

19DEC2020: Two files added with truncated nose cones with 1.0mm and 1.5mm thick walls. They are for the Dynasoar Rocketry Colonial Viper RC rocket glider.
