3D model description

Slotted flap + fins

one aileron needs:(AIL16.5 A W+A)+(AIL16.5 Ba/w)+(AIL16.5 A W+A)mirored. total leng are 350mm. you can printed short aileron just printing until the desire height (print vertical). Longer ailerons needs scale on Z axis

Same with Flap piece, but with total leng of 360mm

Internal supports are included in each piece . Use a x-acto to remove it.

print vertical and use mutiprocess with this config (numbers are how many lines or layer for outline, back, top + % infill) . The general criteria for printing are

1-2-0 15% until hinge section (base section)

3-2-2 100% two layers before and after hinge section

1-0-0 0% the rest of the piece

union pieces could be use 100% infill with small penalty weight . just try the best for your printer.

Print slow!

vertical pieces as flap, flap hinge and aileron needs brim or raft for stability.

In my basic anycubic I3 (Anet A8 clone) speed are 1800mm/sec .

I include a factory file for simplify3d user

16.5 indicate the heigh in mm of the trailing edge of the wing , check this before print to scale Y axis

axis for flap hinge is a 2mm bolt and nut, but could be a 1.8mm wire , blended in L form and glued to the support.

Aileron works great with 2mm carbon fiber rod but, again, could be change to wire.

use a wire or manual drill to clean holes before mount. In aileron I prefered get tight hole on the moving part (2mm), and a little loose in the fixed part of the hinge (2.2mm).
