3D model description

Was working on a concept for mounting my Logitech Webcam to my Lulzbot Taz 5 and came across wantmys2000's Dropcam Mount (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:745446). I like the bottom support bracket design but the arms and mounting plate don't meet my needs. I want to be able to extend the heated bed all the way to the end so need a arm design that can accommodate that. The mounting plate needs to support my Logitech WebCam. So with keeping the bottom mounting bracket, I redesigned the arms and created a 2 piece mount clamping block. Also I printed my pieces out of ABS due to the proximity of the heated bed.

Will need to print 2 of the Arms and rotate all pieces so that they lay flat. For the bottom support bracket, I bit the bullet and printed with supports so the mounting ends would be stronger with the outline being drawn with a 2mm wall.

I used x6 M3 heat-set inserts (https://www.mcmaster.com/#94180a333/=17nqddx)
and x6 M3 10mm hex screws (https://www.mcmaster.com/#socket-head-cap-screws/=17nqe5p)

I included a webcam POV pict as well.
If you like this design and do wind up printing it, please share your picts.

Update - at work we have a Microsoft Webcam to mount to a Taz so created a version 2 design. http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2325671
