3D model description

Y carriage belt holder with Prusa MK3-style fixings. Very easy to change belts. No unnecessary tensioners - just loosen your P3Steel Y idler about 1-2mm, insert the belt, and tighten the Y idler.

Dimensions are specifically measured, so that belt sits dead center and parallel with the 12mm diameter smooth idler and 16T motor pulley.

Uses 2x M3 24mm + 2x M3 12mm screws with nylocks nut, assuming you have 3.3mm thick P3Steel frame.

For best results, use:

  • 6 solid top/bottom layers
  • 6 perimeters
  • 0.48mm extrusion width (with single extrusion option enabled)
  • 30% rectilinear infill

UPDATE:

Added v2 version with a cutout, if you have a y carriage with two center bed screws.
