3D model description

These are some of the greebles and parts that attach to the proton pack shell.

Features:
The following are modeled with "shelves" which I used as guides for hot glue welds.
• Beam Line
• Filler Plug
• HGA
• Ion Arm

Print 2x of Injectors Pt. 001 then glue to Injectors Pt. 002. There is a gap designed into the parts so that they can be glued and then filled to blend seams.

The Booster Tube has a gap just like the Injectors parts. Pt. 003 is separate for sanding and cleaning then glues into pt. 002.

Fastening:
hardware:
• 1/4-20" x 1" hex bolts
• 1/4 washers
• 1/4 lock washers
• ¼-20 nylon locknuts.

The following components I used two-part epoxy and inserted the heads of the hex bolts in:
• Beam Line
• Filler Plug
• HGA
• Ion Arm

The following components I used two-part epoxy and inserted the nylon locknut:
• Injectors Pt. 002

The Booster Tube I tapped and threaded so the bolts would engage from the back of the shell.

The PPD has two holes in the back to fit #6 socket head screws and hole in the bottom for a #10 screw. The screw in the bottom is aesthetic.
