3D model description

This is a kitbash using the Action VI Heavy Freighter (The Wilde Karrde) designed by Bomarrpunk (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1123127). All credit for the design belongs to Bomarrpunk.

The Interceptor-IV design was first mentioned in the Star Wars Saga Edition sourcebook Starships of the Galaxy in the entry for the Action VI Heavy Freighter. Apparently pirates were notorious for buying or stealing an Action VI and heavily modifying them to serve as warships. The result was called the Interecptor-IV Frigate.

The first image of the Interceptor-IV (to my knowledge) is in the Star Wars RTS Empire at War: Forces of Corruption, this ship first appeared as a capital ship under the Zann Consortium. It was later mentioned in the FFG Edge of the Empire module Mask of the Pirate Queen.

This is a great model for players in a Star Wars RPG to have as their first capital scale ship or as an adversary in the form of a ruthless pirate's flagship.
