3D model description

This is a charging stand for a Fossil Gen 5E Men's Smartwatch. (The model with only one button.)

It prints without supports in two parts. There are holes on the bottom for rubber feet if you can get some with a 6mm stem. Optionally they can be printed in TPU or just skipped entirely. Assembly requires 4 M3 countersunk screws. The length should be between 10mm and 20mm.

The holes on the underside of the charger retaining ring are chamfered and counterbored to allow for 4mm long M3 brass inserts (McMaster P/N 94180A331) to be inserted.

If you don't want to go with the inserts, the inside of the little arms is hollow with an inner diameter of about 3.25mm which is just enough to allow the screws to grab and thread in.

Longer screws are recommended since they add strength to the arms.

The charger retaining ring is tapered slightly on the inside to allow the charger to press in but not fall out. The fit should be tight enough so the charger sits snug in the hole and the back is flush with the back of the ring. If it is too tight, lightly sand or file down the top part of the hole.

I have included the CAD should adjustments need to be made or whatever. Editing STL files sucks. Just don't sell this on etsy or something unless you cut me in.... just kidding. I will hunt you down and smash your printer with a bat.
