3D model description

A simple experiment, print the STL called "Straw Rotor Build Plate.stl" using 0,15-0,2mm layer height, 100% infill and 2-3mm brim.

Cut a 5mm diameter soda straw in 3 pieces, press the rotor onto the hub and make sure it can rotate freely. Insert the three straw pieces and place the "jets" on the outer edges. Rotate them so they don't point in the same direction. Blow in the center straw and watch it rotate!

This was a request from a techer. There are a number of instructions on how to do this with only straws, but it's very hard for younger kids to get i working, which is why I designed this so that everyone can focus on the resulting thrust that the directed air has on the rotor instead of struggling with good enough cutouts in the straws.
