3D model description

I created this Runcam2 mount for the SonicModell F1 Wing. The idea is that the camera mount 'tray' is bolted through the stiff foam canopy and sandwiched by a nut-plate (see photos for my intended installation).

Requires 2 x 14mm (or so) M3 countersunk-head bolts and two M3 nylocs to secure.

I tried to countersink the holes in CAD but since this was a remix the countersinking subtraction just ruined the polygons and created all sorts of errors, so I just countersunk the holes in the camera mount itself on the drill press.

I also used a couple of steel washers between rear of the mount and the foam to lift the back side up a couple of degrees for a slightly more level viewpoint. Also note the canopy removal clip is visible in-frame but I may shorted it by about 50% and it'll be hardly visible.

Camera is secured to the tray with a velcro strap fed through the slot underneath that I've built into the design.

Not perfect, but does the job if you want a secure way of mounting your Runcam2 to the wing in a place that doesn't affect CG too much.
