Do you like big projects? Do you like sanding and painting? Well, if you don't, I probably wouldn't try this one....

Probably one of my favorite costume designs from the entire Star Wars saga, the Imperial Guard. Modeled in Blender over the course of a week or so, I am still in the process of printing it out myself - this is a long one. It was measured for a head with a 55-60cm circumference, so it should fit most people (says Google hat making searches....)

It has a very thick hollow simply to allow for multiple shells - this is not intended to be infilled. If you do, and the end product weighs 5 kilograms, I am not responsible for neck injury! :)

I decided to go REALLY easy on the poly count. I figure, thats 30 pieces, alot of polys at full resolution, and aren't we going to just sand the heck out of it anyway? so yeah, sorry for the lower res, but at the end of the day I felt it was a necessary sacrifice, probably cut printing time in half.

30 Individual pieces, how I will print the visor is still up for grabs. Probably Clear ABS with some black stocking over it.
