3D printing settings

  1. Slice PanPipes6.stl in skeinforge. A fill of 0.9 is suggested to eliminate air leakage. The other file, PanPipes6Up.stl, is not required; it's just to show the pipes in their playable orientation.

  2. Print PanPipes6.stl.

  3. Once printed, remove the plastic strings inside the pipes with a drill bit [not in a drill!] and sand interior walls smooth with sandpaper.

  4. Play!

Want to change what you hear? Tweak the settings in the PanPipes.scad file using OpenSCAD!
To do so, you will need Catarina Mota's excellent shapes.scad file: http://svn.clifford.at/openscad/trunk/libraries/shapes.scad
