3D model description

Two piece flex gate carabiner. This carabiner is very easy to assemble and has a very flexible door that snaps shut with authority. This Carabiner was inspired by one of the original ddf3d carabiners designed by Charlie 1982. The design was a fIex door carabiner with a good deal of support material near the lower portion of the major axis of the carabiner spine. I loved the design and function of the carabiner - but wanted the space near the lower portion of the major open so I could easily daisy chain a number of these together. For an additional challenge, I wanted to sketch the carabiner from scratch without using the STL files from the original thing.
