Neato Botvac Connected Cover

This model was born out of necessity as our family cat always sit on top of our Neato Botvac Connected vacuum. In doing so, he would hit one of the front two buttons causing the Botvac to start vacuuming. This simple but useful cover keeps the buttons from being depressed and essentially prevents the Botvac from vacuuming at unwanted times.

This model was originally developed in TinkerCAD but this version was updated using Fusion 360. Dimensions were taken from my own Neato Botvac Connected to create the model.

Depending on your own printer's tolerances, the button cover may fit snug but there should be some play in the Botvac bumper allowing it to fit nicely and prevent it from moving around while in use. The cover is easily removable via the center hole and will need to be removed prior to use of your Neato Botvac.

Exterior dimensions should measure 175.18 mm long by 36 mm wide and 5.5 mm high.

Printing with the top (side with most surface area) laying flat on the printer bed will negate the need for supports. Using this orientation, you should be able to print at .2mm layer height, with 100% infill, in under two hours with a .4 nozzle. .12mm layer height, at 100% infill, will take just over three hours with a .4 nozzle.
