3D model description

This is a motorized cut-up version of the T01 by Ymrich Industries Co. optimized for printing.

For assembly instructions, please refer to the PDF and the two m3f files (MS 3D Builder).

I have successfully printed, assembled and tested this model. A number of parts will need slight adjustments done with a modelling knife, though.

The locomotive is designed for my 35mm-gauge railway system. Despite of this, unless assembled with the highest precision (that also goes for the tracks), the locomotive, due to its three-axle design, may have difficulty staying on track in the 500mm-radius turns. I will be soon releasing wider-radius curved tracks.

Please note that, as of yet, the locomotive does not have a working coupling system. It is under development and will be released once tested. Nevertheless, you can print the machine as is, and glue on the coupling later.

Ymrich Industries is an imaginary industry giant with its headquarters in Kocourkov. It focuses mainly on the production of all sorts of vehicles and means of transportation and accessories. It was founded in the late seventies and since, it grew at an exponential rate. It is estimated to control over 60 percent of the imaginary transportation market in the imaginary world.

The T01 (or T301, the 3 designating the number of powered axles) is the very first diesel-electric locomotive made by Ymrich Industries and was a great success, its characteristic appearance impressing itself upon the pliable young minds of countless boys, who would later in their lives become very nostalgic for this machine.
