3D model description

If you like this model, don't hesitate to leave me a comment, a like, etc... Thank you in advance!

LED Headband Holder. Suitable for Ender 3 type 3D printers and all those that use the same Alu profiles.

Its 20mm distance between the LED strip and the reflector gives us a well homogeneous light.

Lamp in 6 pieces:

  • LED strip light holder (to be inserted into the profile) X2

  • Reflector (Right and Left thin enough to be printed preferably in white to let the light through). The left side has a small slot for the passage of wires.

  • End to be printed 2 times by making a Mirror effect for the right and the left.

This support will be able to receive any type of LED strip as long as it is less than 12 mm wide. For example, it will be compatible with RGB or White LED strips, addressable strips as well as waterproof LED strips, etc....

The bracket I suggest is the full width of the Ender 3 but you can change its size, for example if you have other accessories on the left or right side of the rail, simply by changing it in your slicer (= change length scale without keeping "uniform scale").

For a great render, I advise to print the standing supports ditto for the reflectors.

The rendering is fantastic and the light is visible in front, behind and underneath thanks to its half-hexagon shape that goes down just below the aluminium profile.

I specify that it does not interfere in any way with the original reel support or most of the wire passes that we hang at the end of the printer.

Don't hesitate to send me any improvement and/or specific request, I'll answer with pleasure.

3D printing settings

I would advocate printing the reflectors and stands upright, it looks much better.

Consider printing, in your slicer, one of the two mirror effect ends so that one can go left and the other right.

Print in 0.4 nozzle with 0.2 layers

Still count 8h with a low speed for a nice realization but if you want, it is feasible in less than 4h.
