3D model description

A design for a laser-cut heart enclosure. There's enough room inside for a button-cell battery and a little bit of circuitry - I used a BlinkM MinM. A cutout on the back provides for a switch such as the LilyPad slide switch.

Ma-ti would be proud.

Manufacturing settings

  1. Cut out all the parts except the second power logo out of 3-5mm colored perspex with a laser cutter.
  2. Cut out the second power logo out of 3-5mm clear perspex with a laser cutter
  3. Use acrylic glue to bond the clear power logo into the front panel.
  4. Use more acrylic glue to bond the back and two middle layers together.
  5. Insert circuitry. Hot-glue works well to hold everything in place.
  6. Use acrylic glue to bond the front on.
