3D model description

This is the 3D printed bong starter pack! A bong with excellent percolation and cooling capabilities. What is special about this bong is that it is modular: all pieces can be screwed and unscrewed together, making it easy to clean but most importantly fully customizable! (Check out the extension packs in my shop). Or... you could print however many parts you want, and stack them all up to create a huge bong, great for party occasions!
I have modelled all pieces to be incredibly easy to print but at the same time to be really resistant.
I recommend also getting the ash catcher for free on my page, which works perfectly with the design and prevents ashes from falling in the bong, making it easier to clean.
NOTES:
-The picture of the top is actually different than the one present in this package, with the only difference being the absence of the spiral around it.
-Also, all pieces in the pictures have been printed on a 5 year old printer and came out good-looking and working great, so you should have no problem printing them with a decently calibrated printer.
-I am open to suggestions and especially requests. If you come up with a great design for a piece and want me to model it for you, just contact me here or through reddit at u/JaykdaBeast, and I'll do my best. Also if when requesting a piece, if you have already bought the Basic Pack, I will send the custom piece for free; if the piece is also clever and functional, I might even add it in future packs.
-The last picture showcase pieces which are not included in this pack, but can be found in my shop.
ATTENTION!
-I highly recommend printing the parts with PETG, as it is food safe and does not let water stick to it, making it easier to clean (PLA will start collecting bacteria after a while and has an unpleasant odour).
-A glass/metal slider must be bought for this bong. Printing it in plastic would be really hazardous. The Diameter hole is for 14mm sliders, which can be easily found in shops or on amazon for quite cheap.
The pieces included are (and their sizes):
-Straight Base (Diameter=126mm, Height=180mm), with a total of 96 3.5mm diameter percolation holes
-Straight Neck (Diameter=46mm, Height=140mm)
-Straight Top (Diameter=~46mm, Height=110mm), with built-in ice holder

3D printing settings

As I said, I highly recommend printing with PETG.
These settings are to ensure that the walls are completely solid, just like the bottom.
-Wall thickness: >1mm (So that the walls are filled with perimeters)
-Top/Bottom thickness: >1mm (So that the base is 100% water tight)
-Layer Height: 0.2 is the best for speed and final looks, but I'm pretty sure you could print with any layer height (have not tried).
-Cooling: yes (accordingly), as there are some slight overhangs which need to come out well for the threads (45Β°)
-Supports: none (If it is hard to print the top, supports from the build plate can be used, but I found them unnecessary)
