Phooey Mobile

Phooey Mobile 3D print model

Description

The Phooey Mobile is a 3d printable toy, based on the car depicted in the 'Hong Kong Phooey' animated series. When the main character had to go out to fight crime, he would use his Phooey Mobile. Using an enchanted gong, he could reconfigure the car into a boat, a helicopter, or any other vehicle to assist in pursuit or escape. While this model does not transform, it is designed to be printed in parts, tires, hubcaps, roof, body, and steering wheel.

I've test printed the model at 50% default scale, before breaking into parts, on a resin printer. I printed it with tailpipes at a high up angle, with supports, printing the canopy separately. It printed without issue and helped me to resolve minor connection issues before posting. So, all should be fine. If I find an new issues, I will update the posting. Keep in mind that the printer, the placement, and print settings impact the printout. I try to make this easy to print, but much of the result will depend on your choices. So, plan well and be careful cleaning supports.

Sorry, no. But I can look into creating him. It would just be a minor costume change, with a few extra props.

I think I printed it angled towards the rear end, with supports. Of course, I printed it on my Elegoo Mars. An FDM printer may be trickier, depending on the size and printer settings/calibration.
