Axalon Lift and Entrance from Transformers Beast Wars 3D print model

Here's another piece to further complete the interior bits of the Axalon - the Lift and Entrance mechanism which is also CyberBase System compatible!

Essentially, this setup spans across two levels of the standard CyberBase System Tile and on top of the parts in the set itself, will require a standard 2x2 base tile which is available from the CBS Core Set here - https://www.patreon.com/posts/33140482

Once assembled (more on that later), the lift can either in put into the raised position with your Maximal pal back safely within the Axalon, or in a lowered position for them to head out on adventures or to defend yet another futile Predacon attack!

For larger Maximals like Dinobot, it may be a slight squeeze to get him in there, and normally removing the top piece to would make it easier to pose him inside.

In the front part of the entrance, there is an decorated arc-ed piece (seen above) which is meant to represent the bottom of the see-through door which slides up and down in place. Given that there isn't really room for said piece to retract properly upwards, you will need to use a wee bit of imagination on that, or perhaps use a small portion of clear plastic in lieu of it. In any case, you can easily set the vertical position of this piece using the two side grooves in the main body of the entrance:

To lower the lift platform, two pins which help lock the hatch doors underneath it would need to be removed first. Once these are rotated downwards, they allow the lift platform to be brought down all the way to the lower CBS tile.

Attached here is also an image showing how the various parts of the build go together.

• Main Body [Dark Orange] - These are the main portions of this build, and only the front and back pieces really need to be glued together in place. The top piece is best left unglued so it can be removed for easier posing or storage.

• Piston Parts [Red] - These are the bits which simulate the hydraulics for the lift. The inner parts of the piston are best glued down to the corresponding holes in the Lift Body as well as Platform to help keep things as secure as possible. The Piston_Ext parts are meant to simply slot over the internal pillars and should not be glued.

+Platform and Lift Pillars [Yellow] - The platform comes as a single piece and has 3 x 5mm ports on the back, the centre of which is meant for the optional Platform Terminal if you choose to have it there. Otherwise, other accessories or effect parts can be placed there too. The Lift Pillar piece help just to help to raise/separate the two levels of this build.

• HatchDoor [Light Orange] - There piece assemble to be the two doors which hold up the lift plaform when raised. They attached to the underside of the Lift's CBS piece using a pair of hinge_pegs each. The hatch door attaches to its hinge using a 3mm piece of plastic rod/filament/wire. Lock pieces are provided also to help keep these hatchdoors locked in position in order to hold the platform securely in its raised position and have been tested to at least hold up to voyager sized bots.
