3D model description

A super cheap and simple high power LED light.

MADE TO USE WITH MAINS VOLTAGE!
IF YOU DO NOT HAVE SKILLS/EXERIENCE PLEASE DO NOT MESS VITH HIGH VOLATGE!!!

The heatsing at full fan speed can support upto 20w, I tested 30w but the i could feel the plastic case warming up. The fan is audiable at full speed, but turning the fan speed down to silent is still more than enough to cool a 20w led.

I used a 1k potentsiometer in series with the fan to turn down the speed.

When using a 10w LED chip the fan can be turned almost all the way down.

The parts i used:

The heatsink fan combo: https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_AKWH0P ---2$---

C8 (220v connector): https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_AKAtgf (5pcs) ---0.9$---

220v/110v to 12v converter for fan:https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_9yWyYT ---0.5$---
(select the 1-3w version)

220v LED driverless: https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_AsEQGj ---1$---
(i used a grow LED light but you can find your own just make sure
the chip is 220v driverless)

                                                                                            TOTAL: about 4$

Of course some prices may vary, shop around a bit and find the best price.
Many different LED chips should work since the sizes are more or less standard.

I just use some super glue to stick the led chip to the heatsing. Using some heatpaste would be good, but i find the glue does good enough job for low power like this.

If you feel comfortabe with the mains voltage then the wiring should be simple enough :)

I bought this kit and that's where i got the speed controlling potentsiometer from: https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_9fxQVl

Printed with 0.2mm layer high, no support and whatever infill.
