3D model description

Do you own the Hasbro Plasma series "Spengler" Neutrona wand from the Ghostbusters: Afterlife movie but aren't happy with the faux-Clippard that comes with it?... Neither was I.

So I created this simple modification which allows you to convert one of the cheaper, and easier to acquire, Clippard R-301 Minimatic valves into one that looks more like the R-331 or R-701.

Simply unscrew the aluminium top of the Clippard and remove the plastic "bulb" cover, washer and spring elements and put them aside.

Print both the "top knob" and the bottom "peg" (and the screw for the 701 look). Paint the top part silver/chrome/aluminium to match the top of the Clippard, alternatively use silver rub n' buff. You may wish to add some black acrylic wash for weathering. The screw should be a more gold/brass colour.

Push the peg through the hole in the aluminium valve top and into the female part of the knob/screw. They should be a nice tight fit without glue and it should allow you to turn and twiddle a little bit too.

Screw the aluminium top of the Clippard back down onto the main body and then attach to your Spengler wand or Proton pack.

I obtained the original Clippard CAD drawings and tweaked it slightly for better printability with a peg hole to allow easy attachment to the Clippard without the need for screws or glue.
