3D model description

There is a cheap way of handling power over ethernet: use two of the twisted pairs within a Cat 5 cable for power, and two pairs for half-duplex Ethernet. (See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Power_over_Ethernet#Pinouts for the wiring.) This box provides a neat way of having DC and Ethernet connectors side-by-side, and also holds captive clip nuts of a particular type, which can be used to bolt something to the side of the box (camera, some sort of sensor or whatever). I use it with http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1644939 to mount a radiation monitor. The captive nuts are the same as you would use for rack-mounting equipment to a steel 19" rack, which take a 10/32 bolt. The captive nut spacing is 26mm, and they will be 8mm away from the wall. So you can design anything you like with holes with matching spacing, and mount it to the side of this box.
