This is a printed-in-place rc car. The frame, axle, steering and wheels are all printed together.
No supports needed.

WARNING: Print STL with gear facing down.

ITEMS NEEDED:
-3.7 gram servo
-1 or 2 cell lipo battery (and charger)
-130 size electric motor, brushed or brushless
-receiver/remote
-15-30amp speed control, brushed or brushless
-0.5 modulus 8 tooth pinion
-1 m2 screw for the steering link
-Tires - inner diameter: 18mm

OPTIONAL (but recommended):
-2mm shaft, about 60mm long - to insert inside the rear axle, as reinforcement


Improvements over Gamma 1.0:

  • Simpler motor mount design

  • Direct drive. One less gear than the previous version.

  • More space for electronics

  • Steering and front wheels are easier to print

IS IT RESIZABLE?

LARGER - yes, easily. If you make it 150% or larger, you can even use 0.3 layer height. You will need to find suitable screws and motor.
SMALLER - ONLY if you reduce nozzle size. You can print it at 75% if you use a 0.3 nozzle and a layer height of 0.15. This will make sure that all the supports print to scale.
