Description

A base for Hotwheels Lancia Stratos Group 5 from one of the recent Boulevard series, it should work future release of this casting by Hotwheels.

There is also a standard Stratos base back wall design included too.

There are multiple variants of Lancia Stratos for this size, the Hotwheels Group 5 is the only one I have but If you have other variants, I could make another base to fit it. I need the length and width of the car base as shown here: https://imgur.com/5T6mb2L

The display base is separated into 3 parts for easy printing and colour swap. The parts are:

1) Name plate (NamePlateAssem.STL and NamePlateAssem (Stratos Only).STL)
2) Base (BaseV2.STL)
3) Base back wall (BoxBackAssem.STL and BoxBackAssem (Stratos Only).STL)

Base Back Wall and Name Plate Variant

There are 2 variants of Base back wall, the one in my pictures are "BoxBackAssem".

The difference for each base are:

###BoxBackAssem:
As seen in the pictures above, vehicle name "Stratos Group 5" is written on it.

###BoxBackAssem (Stratos Only):
Similar to the on in the picture but with slightly larger "Stratos" and without "Group 5", so it can be used on other Stratos variant

There are 2 variants of Name Plate, the one in my pictures are "NamePlateAssem".

The difference for each name plate are:

###NamePlateAssem:
As seen in the pictures above, vehicle name "Stratos Group 5" is written on it.

###NamePlateAssem (Stratos Only):
Similar to the on in the picture but without "Group 5", so it can be used on other Stratos variant

Print Settings

Nozzle size = 0.4 mm (minimum, smaller better)
Layer height = 0.2 mm

Filament change layer for colours on "BoxBackAssem" & "BoxBackAssem (Stratos Only)":
1) Start (Background colour, mine is in white)
2) Layer 19 (Lower stripe colour, mine is in green)
3) Layer 24 (Upper stripe colour, mine is in red)
4) Layer 29 (Lancia logo background colour, mine is in blue)
5) Layer 34 (Lancia logo pattern and lettering, mine is in white)
6) Layer 39 ("Stratos" and/or "Group 5" lettering colour , mine is in black)

Filament change layer for colours on "NamePlateAssem" & "NamePlateAssem (Stratos Only)":
1) Start (Background colour, mine in white)
2) Layer 8 (Lower stripe colour, mine is in green)
3) Layer 13 (Upper stripe colour, mine is in red)
4) Layer 19 ("Lancia", Stratos and/or "Group 5" lettering colour, mine is in black)

Assembly

The car is tied by wires through the hole in the base

Back plate and name plate should slide in nicely into the display base. If the name plate is loose, double sided tape will hold it nicely

Others

I did not test the "Stratos Only" base back wall and name plate but it should works fine.

Feel free to send me any feedback on how to improve the design. Suggestion on display base designs are welcomed too.
