3D model description

This is my entry for the T-Rex Remix, I decided to continue the educational theme of the original model by adding muscles to the skull.

3D printing settings

Just print the pieces and glue to the original model http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:308335

I've now added the two original skull pieces here for completeness.

I have oriented the muscles so that the natural striations of 3d printing compliment the texture of the muscles. It is better to print them with a thicker layer to accentuate the effect. I used 0.3 mm layer for all the muscles, even larger may look better. I use a brim and support material for most pieces.

The large cartilage of the nose needs to be put is last because you need access to the inside to place the other pieces. The cartilage need some manipulating to get it in place, I used a hairdryer to make it pliable before pushing it into place.

I've made the eyeball in three parts so that you can print it in different colours but I've also added a complete eyeball if you'd rather paint it.
