3D model description

I desgined these 3D printable battery holders based on an elegant Beer Crate I have at home. The different parts can store 12 x AA or 20 x AAA standard batteries.

The model is print in place, you don't need any support.

They are stackable and the different types are fully compatible as well, they have the same frame size. The 4 holes at the bottom and the 4 pins at the top holds the different crates in a stable position.

It helps a lot to organize your batteries, and looks nice as well on the shelf. The title on the side helps to identify the battery type as well.

Please let me know in the comments your ideas, what else could be stored in such frame size, which would be compatible with these.

3D printing settings

I used the following settings on my Ender 3, using PLA filament:
- Nozzle size: 0.4mm
- Layer height: 0.2mm
- Wall line count: 4
- Top, bottom layers: 4
- Infill density: 20%
- Printing temperature: 210 Β°C
- Build plate temperature: 55 Β°C
- Print speed: 55 mm/s
- If the bed doesn't stick well, it is recommended to use ~8 mm Brim. You can remove it easily afterwards.

Note that temperatures and print speed may differ depending on the used material and printer, but these are good for starting point.
