3D model description

Summary

The wonderful YF-22 ATFHQ model by Joh76, scaled and sliced for 200mm x 200mm x 200mm printers such as the Ultimaker. This model is scaled at 50% of the original, and is still nearly three feet long when fully assembled. I also designed a stand that works with 1/2 inch PVC fittings for displaying this beast.

Instructions

PLEASE print all of your parts with some degree of fill (about 17% recommended), this model has internal structures that curl if there is no fill, causing prints to fail. Other than that, print the stand (f22_stand.stl) at greater than 33% fill, it has a lot of strain put on it by the weight of the model. As far as putting all of the pieces together, I plastic-welded mine together using a soldering gun. I recommend this method for filling in the gaps between pieces caused by curling, it is a must if you want a clean-looking end product.
