#XMASCULTS

Here is a third version of my animated christmas tree with redesigned 3D sprockets.

It include many different ornaments that you can fix on the different sprockets of the animated christmas tree to create you own customized model:
- 3D gift box
- 3D knot ornament
- 3D apple
- 3D Angel
- 3D shooting star
- 3D gingy / gingerbread man
- And some more to come !

To complete the construction of this christmas tree musicbox, you will need :
- A Musical Mechanism Movement DIY Clockwork Music Box
- A 3,1 mm diameter 30 mm length (like a cutted nail)
- 10 2,5 mm diameter 12 mm length screws

You will need also a deburrer tool and a 3 mm drill to adjust the bore before assembling. The input sprocket and the M0.4 sprocket have to be glue on the 3.1 mm shaft.

Christmas tree dimensions :
Height 25 cm Width 19 cm Depth 9 cm

After a complete wind-up, the mouvement last about 3 min.

3D printing settings

26 parts to be printed, many possible combinations with sprockets and decoration objects colors and positions !

0,2 mm par layer
1,2 mm wall thickness
10% filling
Except 3D candy cane, the angel and the gingerbread man , all parts can be printed without support. The teeth of the sprockets are slightly offset from the printed first layer to avoid issue with the elephant foot effect of most FDM printers.
The model on the picture have been 3D printed with francofil filament.

Biggest part size on the printer plate : 185.4 x 196.7 mm
